New Zealand’s South Island has some first rate waterfowling for a mix of indigenous and introduced species. The New Zealand Waterfowl Grand Slam is made up of 7 species: NZ Shoveler, Black Swan, Paradise Shelduck, Grey Duck, Pukeko, Mallard & Canada Geese.
We hunt Public & Private wetlands, ponds, swamps, lagoons, lakes, spring creeks, and braided alluvial rivers on both the East & West Coasts. Being highly experienced waterfowlers with a lifetime of hunting experience, Strike Adventure Ltd can supply full equipment including camouflage gear, boat, guns & decoys for shooting over pasture, fodder crops, and water.
Our waterfowl season runs May, June, and July (inclusive) and adding a waterfowl grand slam onto another trophy hunting trip always makes good sense.
Our New Zealand Waterfowl Grand Slam is a 5 day Road trip ex Nelson City return.
